I understand your
being hurt and weary, and why you're conceding. HOWEVER -- I have misgivings
about Shakkyo –
Call it feminine
intuition, but I don't think he really has Hibou's
best interests at heart, like you. He may be showy, but you showed
how much you care for her well-being.
I was just making a
silly joke when I suggested you bring her a badger -- but you DID. And then the
nest -- such a lovely nest, and you even made sure those nasty crows
would be scared off. She was SO thrilled by all this. If that wasn't love,
well, gosh, I really don't know what is!
Please, Imriel -- reconsider. I hate for this to be the end of such
a beautiful romance.
