Hiro: Um, Fenchurch, I just got this
jacket for my birthday, but I'd like for you to wear it. Just as a sort of...
something to show that... well, that there's an understanding between us. Know
what I mean?
Fenchurch: Oh... Hiro, that is really sweet of
you. I WISH I'd known it was your birthday. What a year it's been for you -- a
new home and family, and your brother returned.
Hiro: I didn't want you to make a big
fuss about it being my birthday. But you're right... this has probably been the
best year of my whole life so far.
Hiro: Coming to America, having a real
home, and meeting so many friends, including you... and Tadashi finding me
again, when I thought he was gone forever. It went by so fast...
Hiro: Do you like it?
Fenchurch: Yes, very much... *gives him a hug* Thank you... for you
being you, spazzes, no poker face, and all! *giggle*
Hiro: *wryly* I'm supposed to be
grateful for comments like THAT??
Hiro: *hugs her back* But thank you
anyway...
